Sales Executive

Shawmut is currently seeking a dynamic and energetic sales executive to join their growing team. To qualify, you need at least one year of either appointment-setting or B-to-B sales experience.

The job requires you to find new customers, get opportunities and penetrate accounts. To succeed, you must enjoy hunting for new accounts, as well as servicing current clients to gain repeat business.

This is a position where you sell solutions. Sales cycles require multiple calls, significant relationship building, excellent discovery skills, along with the ability to present solutions and close.

To succeed you must:

  • Be driven, have a high energy level, and be tenaciously committed to achieving sales goals
  • Be comfortable cold calling to set meetings
  • Have excellent rapport-building and questioning skills
  • Learn about the printing process and how to present the benefits of partnering with Shawmut
  • Be organized and have effective follow-up skills
  • Establish and build relationships with decision makers in marketing and purchasing at potential clients
  • Have good presentation skills for face-to-face meetings
  • Be focused on consistently opening accounts and closing sales to achieve revenue goals
  • Excellent telephone and writing skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as Google App equivalents
  • Ability to manage time effectively

Please Note: One year of either appointment-setting or B-to-B sales experience is required. College degree preferred.

We provide a base salary plus commission, a 401K plan, group health insurance plus paid vacation.
